On Radio

Radio is the main source of information for poor people, and the low cost of entry for new stations has diluted corporate control. And radio provides a rare source of information in unofficial languages “a major issue when it comes to empowering poor communities given that most people living on $1 a day do not speak their countries official language.”

- From Poverty To Power, Duncan Green

PS. According to Sister Vic, many of the Atis tune in to The Informer.
